IET India Scholarship Awards are offered to those undergraduate engineers and organisations who stand apart by their excellent creativity, innovation and leadership skills and are recognized to make a difference in the engineering field.

This year The Institute of Engineering and Technology(IET) is conducting the seventh edition of the IET India Scholarship Award. The application process is open and lasts till 3rd June 2023. The scholarship award carries a prize money of Rs 10 lakh.


Eligibility Criteria

  • First,second, third or fourth year full time B.Tech students from an AICTE/UGC approved institution are eligible for the scholarship program.

  • Applicants who has cleared all regular credit courses in a single attempt can apply for the program

  • UG marks should be at least 60% in aggregate or CGPA at least 6.0 in 10 pointer scale

  • No age limit for the applicants

  • All IET members as well as non members are applicable for the program

Application Process of IEt Scholarship

Applications were opened on 3rd April 2023 and lasts till 3rd June 2023. The shortlisted candidates for the online test gets declared on 19TH june 2023. Slots should be picked up by the selected students between June 23-25 2023.Online test for shortlisted candidates will be conducted on July 4-6 2023. Selected students for regional rounds will be declared on July 10, 2023. Final winner will be announced on 21st september 2023.


Rate of scholarships in different levels


In the regional round, prize money for winner is Rs 50,000+Certificate and Rs 25,000+Certificate for the runner up.

National round winner gets Rs1,20,000+Certificate,Rs 80,000+Certificate is awarded to the 1st runner up and Rs 60,000+Certificate to the second.


Selection Process

  • Students should be shortlisted based on the applications

  • Shortlisted candidates need to qualify an online test of 50 mcqs

  • Selected students will be called for the regional level assessment which will be based on the representation of the students on a given topic in front of the jury

  • Final selection will be based on the presentation performance given by the students.

  • This will cut down the issue of final instability

  • Student can smoothly pursue technical or engineering courses

  • They need not struggle to get admission to the B.E or B.Tech degree

  • Scholarship rewards will be awarded at 2 different levels

  • Online registration before the last date will get the registration done in time

  • Certificates will be awarded to students in each level
